Smart Demo Skills System

Take control of your rotating machine installations skills training with Update’s Smart Demo. The system enables you to both train and practice critical mechanical skills related to precision rotating machine installation – the key to your machinery reliability and longevity.

This training platform is based on Update’s experience in training thousands of students in vibration analysis and alignment/balancing skills. Hands-on interactive experimentation on a demonstration unit is the best way to learn practical skills and techniques necessary to achieve a true precision result.

This first release of the Smart Demo System is designed for Skills Enhancement – The skills necessary to prevent vibration in the first place. Later versions will target vibration Analysis more completely.

The unique system includes a motor/shaft/bearing trainer with a variable speed motor assembly on a rugged steel base. The system is integrated with four triaxial accelerometers with a tachometer that is fed to a 13 channel vibration acquisition and analysis system running on an included PC.
